Every step forward is driven by a purpose, and likewise, every action has a reason behind it. It is the religious and moral duty of a Muslim to study the noble life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the wisdom it contains—and to convey that message to others as well—so that, by the grace of Allah, guidance may spread and success may be attained in both worlds.
With this goal in mind, Banāt al-Islāmiya is organizing a Quiz on the Seerah (Prophetic Biography). The following are the rules and guidelines for the event:
1. The primary aim of this competition is to spread the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ. While top performers will be awarded with certificates and prizes, the real purpose is to understand the message of the Prophet ﷺ and incorporate it into daily life with sincerity and devotion.
2. Entry will not be permitted without a roll number slip.
3. Participants must clearly write their full name and roll number on the answer sheet.
4. The quiz will consist of objective-type questions, each with four possible answers. The correct option must be fully shaded.
5. Negative marking will be applied: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer—equivalent to losing one full mark for every four wrong answers.
6. In case of a tie, a draw will be conducted in person.
7. If an Ālim/Ālimah or Fāḍil/Fāḍilah wins one of the top two positions, or if a participant has already secured 1st or 2nd place in a Seerah competition in previous years, they will instead be entered into a draw with third-place winners.
8. Anyone who has achieved a 1st or 2nd position in any state-level Seerah competition in the past four years—especially those held by Wahdat al-Makātib—will also fall under this same rule regarding prize eligibility.
